Three DH jobs at KNAW Humanities Cluster in Amsterdam

Team leader & two researchers. Deadline for applications is 15 March 2017.

In 2016, three institutes of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences joined forces in the KNAW Humanities Cluster in Amsterdam. The three institutes consider Digital Humanities a vital thread that binds them, and aim to start a joint Digital Humanities Group. In particular, we are looking to build a team of which the core expertise is language technology (computational linguistics, text mining), to enrich the expertise already in the cluster on e.g. network analysis, the mining of structured data, and knowledge representation.

Team leader & two researchers

The core expertise of the new positions is language technology (computational linguistics, text mining), to enrich the expertise already in the cluster on e.g. network analysis, the mining of structured data, and knowledge representation, and to build on the prior work of the Alfalab project and the eHumanities group.

The team leader and two researchers must have an outstanding track record in applying language technology to digital humanities. In addition, the team leader must have the ability to build, lead, and develop the group.
